We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is Treaty 4 territory and the traditional territory of the Anihšinābēk, Nêhiyawak, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota peoples, and the original home of the Métis/Michif Nation. We recognize that both Indigenous and Métis people are the spiritual and cultural keepers of their traditional lands and still to this day, continue to practice their values, languages, beliefs and knowledge.

Chris is a dyed in the wool Saskatchewan boy. He grew up on a farm an hour’s drive southeast of Regina and has been a card-carrying resident of Regina for almost two decades. Chris has found purpose in his work by looking to his own roots – telling stories about Saskatchewan as an amazing place to live, work and raise a family and about Canada’s vibrant and growing agriculture industry. While he has a long list of literary pet peeves, he loves breaking grammatical rules as he sees fit and is morbidly fond of one-word sentences. Seriously. Chris has logged thousands of kilometers running in and around Wascana Park and can be found in his perch at Mosaic Stadium
