A CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY: THE REGINA 25 AWARDS HONOURS LOCAL LEADERS
On Thursday, May 14, Economic Development Regina (EDR) will host the Regina 25 Awards, an initiative celebrating 25 Regina people who embody the spirit, resilience, and pride of our city.
The Regina 25 is a grassroots initiative created by Regina people, for Regina people. It shines a spotlight on those who make Regina a place of opportunity, innovation, and connection.
“The Regina 25 captures the energy that’s driving our city forward,” said John Bailey, CEO & President of EDR. “These honourees represent progress at every level – from new ideas to long‑standing leadership – and together they paint a compelling picture of where Regina is headed.”
Nominees came from every corner of the city, representing a wide range of backgrounds, industries, and experiences. From entrepreneurs and educators to community champions and business leaders, every nominee shares one thing in common: a lasting, positive impact on Regina. This year’s 25 honourees have been recognized across five categories: Game-changers, Grassroots, Growers, Mentors, and Quick Studies.
“This year’s Regina 25 nominees and award recipients are individuals who go above and beyond to strengthen our community and help shape Regina’s future,” said Mayor Chad Bachynski. “Through leadership, bold ideas, entrepreneurship, community involvement and determination, they are making a huge difference in our community.
“They are changemakers who lead with purpose, inspire through action and set a standard of excellence for others to follow. Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners and thank you for the meaningful impact you continue to make in our city.”
