Nominations Open as Regina 25 Returns to Celebrate Local Leaders

NOMINATIONS OPEN AS REGINA 25 RETURNS TO CELEBRATE LOCAL LEADERS
Following a successful launch in 2025, Economic Development Regina (EDR) is pleased to announce that the Regina 25 will return in May 2026.
The Regina 25 is a community-driven recognition program designed to celebrate the remarkable individuals who make Regina a place of opportunity, innovation, and pride. After generating strong community engagement and nominations in its inaugural year, the program is set to build on that positive momentum.
“Last year proved something important – Regina shows up for its own,” said John Bailey, President & CEO of EDR. “The Regina 25 belongs to the community, and we’re excited to see even more stories come forward this year.”
The Regina 25 is a grassroots initiative created by Regina people, for Regina people. A community judging panel – featuring some of the city’s most respected leaders – will select 25 individuals who best represent Regina’s ambition, humility, and ‘get it done’ spirit across five categories: Growers, Game-Changers, Grassroots, Quick Studies, and Mentors.
“The Regina 25 shines a light on people who make our city stronger every day,” said Mayor Chad Bachynski. “Their drive, generosity, commitment and belief in Regina’s future are what move us forward. I’m grateful for this initiative and look forward to viewing the nominees.”
EDR is now calling on community members to submit nominations for individuals who embody Regina’s vibrant and forward-looking spirit. Whether it’s a business leader, entrepreneur, volunteer, newcomer, or unsung hero, the Regina 25 is about recognizing those who make Regina a better place to live, work, and invest.
