Five out of the 25 Murals completed for The Audacity Mural Project

(Regina, SK) The Audacity Mural Project, an urban renewal initiative set to activate the walls and streets
of Regina in celebration and promotion of culture, community, and commerce, is in full swing as two
more murals are completed on the walls of the Regina Chamber of Commerce and Saigon by Night.
The Regina Chamber of Commerce donated their wall to be part of this project because they play a
significant role in the business community and recognize that chamber members are changemakers.

“Our mural allows us to showcase Regina’s creativity, innovation and community pride,” said Tony Playter, Regina Chamber of Commerce CEO. “Partnering with Economic Development Regina illustrates
our commitment to inclusivity, and we are thrilled that our mural connects business and community.”

Saigon by Night contributed their wall because their mural called “Ardent Dawn” designed by Josh Goff, represents the spirit of newcomers in Regina and offers symbols of Vietnam that makes the newcomers feel at home.

“The Vietnamese dragon is the symbol of yang, representing life, existence, and growth,” said Goff. “Commitment and optimism for the future is present in the lotus flower, and bravery, Confidence, and leadership in the tiger.” In partnership with the Council for Entrepreneurial Growth and the Regina Downtown Business Improvement District, Economic Development Regina facilitates the Audacity Mural Project. In total, five out of 25 murals have been completed. Key to the completion of the murals have been the development of partnerships for the project.
